This series of paintings provides a chance to reflect on the importance of heritage and to question the validity of the argument for sweeping all aside in the name of progress.

Many of us care deeply, we think we don't have a voice to articulate the depth of our concerns, but so much has changed recently. Even the simple act of signing an online petition, knowing there are others who feel the same, can make a difference and help us overcome our sense of futility.

compassion has been swamped by a

tidal wave of indifference and self interest. The braying of the mob increases, fanned by media hysteria. The voice of reason has been drowned out, but is not dead. This work is a reaction to the extreme and ugly face of the zeitgeist using language that can be understood by those who are always 'right'.
